14 December 2012
On days like this, when the news is just one horrific, heartbreaking story, heading out and seeing the shiny things is not a bad way to spend the day.
It also doesn't hurt to be able to go see kitties up for adoption from the SPCA in the Macy's store window.

Something nice to brighten what was a sad day.
I refuse to turn on the TV or radio. It is so horrible, but what makes me the maddest is interviewing the children. Why do parents allow news people to shove a mic and camera in their kids face and ask stupid questions (what did you hear, see, feel). For cripes sake! They are children that have been through a major trauma! Have come compassion.
Sorry, I will step away from the soap box and go look at some shinny things, if I can with out tears!
Thanks for the visit and comment, Thumper. Good to have empathy!
Merry Christmas!
